Measuring our own advertising
When we advertise Ikovia on Facebook, Instagram and Google, we use the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads conversion tag to understand which ads bring people to Ikovia. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to record:
- the pages of ikovia.ca you visit;
- that you completed sign-up, or upgraded to Ikovia Pro;
- technical details such as your browser, device, IP address and an advertising cookie identifier.
We do not send Meta or Google your name, email address, immigration status, CRS score, profile answers, documents or any other information from your Ikovia account. Meta and Google process the data above under their own privacy policies and may combine it with information they already hold to measure and improve ad delivery.
You can control this at any time: adjust Meta ad preferences (see the Meta Privacy Policy), use Google Ads Settings, opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada at youradchoices.ca, or block third-party cookies in your browser. Ikovia works fully without these cookies.
